Imported to the USA by Parravano, the Ghia-bodied 340 was entrusted to American driver Mc Afee and his brother for the 1952 Carrera, their third. The elegant and lightweight original wire wheels were replaced with sturdier Hallbrand alloys, the type used in NASCAR racing. They finished fifth overall.
