In the early 1950s, Cadillacs were very performing cars, equipped with 5.4 liter V8 engines with 160 horsepower. The car reproduced here, also known as “carro mexico “, commissioned at the start of the Carrera in 1950 (I CARRERA PANAMERICANA) by President Aleman himself, was driven by two soldiers, Castaneda and Estrada. Despite numerous off the road that reduced it to a bad start, they managed to finish in 26th place overall out of forty-seven classified.
