These particular cars were used in the Imsa and Trans Am races towards the end of the 70s. The acronym is not an official Porsche name as this type of car was not produced in Stuttgart but was the evolution of the 934 turbo. This version was fielded at Road Atlanta in 1977 by the Interscope team for driver Ted Field. He finished in 17th place.
